![]() King George V comes second even though I despise it, because it is still reliable for farming big damage in passive, campy matches, and as such it uptiers well. 16" guns, Russian bias dispersion, good mobility, and reliable armor. As good as it gets for the Germans, especially since tier 6 carriers in general are pretty meh.īB: Sinop - No question about it, this is the best tier 7 battleship, including premiums. On paper it's at least as strong as most of the others, none of which are really that great since they see tier 8s.ĬV: Weser - AP rocket planes are stupid good at tier 6, and fast torps are nice, too. I remember not liking Icarus very much, though it's been quite a while and I can't recall why I felt that way. Devonshire and La Galissoniere are good, too.ĭD: Icarus? - Tough call. Nicholas is a solid all-arounder, though, and has good guns which enjoy superior, flatter ballistics compared to the notoriously floaty 5"/38s that all the destroyers that come after it get.īB: Fuso - Still the king, though Izmail gets pretty close.ĬC: Leander - Has everything it needs to succeed, and benefits from not having to face much radar when it gets into a good matchmaking spread. Only Gremyashchy, Okhotnik, and Kamikaze/Fujin really stand out, all of which are premiums. Most of the tech tree tier 5 destroyers are pretty unspectacular. Total monster and probably the best IJN cruiser tier for tier.ĭD: Nicholas? - Tough call. Also Giulio Cesare, but that's a premium of course, and a notoriously overpowered one at that.ĬC: Furutaka - Tanky af, which is something few tier 5 cruisers can say, and can overmatch all of its counterparts as well. Only Kongo and Conte di Cavour come close. Speed, armor, concealment, and good guns. BB: Pyotr Velikiy - No contest, hands down the best tech tree battleship at tier 5.
